Review of Embassy Suites Boca Raton

I like this place, and it's usually my go to 'stay...

I like this place, and it's usually my go to 'staycation' hotel. The rooms are not GREAT but they're ok. The lobby is nice and clean with plenty of seating area to relax and entertain friends. Here, MOST of the staff is friendly and helpful. I usually stay on nights when Gary (who is amazing btw)is working at the bar, but on this trip, I had the misfortune of staying here for my birthday getaway with my cousins while Ramon was working at the bar. His attitude really needs to be adjusted if hes going to be dealing with people. My guests really felt unwelcomed by him, and very uncomfortable interacting with him. This is truly unnacaptable! A lot of things I seem to notice about some of the staff here is that they dont like to take ownership and handle guests' issues and sometimes small requests when the guests are in front of them. They conveniently pass it on to the next shift, such as in my case with Mr. Front desk 'Mayor' Lou. Other than that, everyone else is pleasant and made my stay worthwhile. Steven the server and Juna who also works at the restaurant is a delight. Juna I have to say especially, is very pleasant. Julienne at the front desk helped me a lot during my stay, she's always smiling and always ready to help. Veronica is nice also. Overall my stay was great, this would of gotten greater stars if the evening reception bartender, Ramon was a little more nicer to us.
