I bought a 2017 GMC Sierra 1500 Denali around JULY-ish. I drove it off the lot and returned with-in 15 minutes. The truck had the torque converter issue and somehow no-one drove the truck before me to notice the whole truck vibrates when going down the highway. The salesman scared me when telling me it was not a big issue and convinced me it wasn't. Then I found out about the lawsuit with GM about the truck. I felt lied to and stuck with the truck. Next issue, the truck had some weird ticking noise coming from the engine. I took it in to the service department and they told me the truck had a collapsed lifter. They fixed it. Unfortunately, they did not tighten everything and oil leaked all over my engine. STILL to this day (3 weeks later) still smells like burning oil at a incline. NOW, the transmission is slipping at 45 MPH & 62 MPH speeds. It jars the whole truck. Before I had several intermittent issues of it slipping when changing gears and jumping forward when coming to a stop. They were never able to duplicate. It now does it EVERY time driven. I have no idea what to do. I feel stuck with this thing. I am worried to even take it back into the dealership. They told me to not take the words they said with a grain of salt when he told me I may be still hearing/feeling the things the truck did when the lifter was collapsed. The truck only had 60k miles on it. I spent 50k with this dealership and they have not taken care of me! I would do anything to go back and not have gotten the truck. I wish they tried to help me.
