Sorry, but I just wasn't impressed. The tour hours and days are ridiculously limited, so I never got a tour when I was there on a Saturday. NO WEEKEND TOURS, folks. Seriously, how can you not have tours on your two busiest days of the week?? So, if you work a typical M-F job, Blue Bell's factory doesn't cater to you. If you're lucky enough to get there during a designated tour time, you get a free cup of ice cream for your trouble. Otherwise, you pay an outrageous price for a cup. Also, I bought a cup of Cake Batter ice cream at a bbq restaurant in Elgin a few years ago, and it was delicious, tasting like yellow cake batter. Months later, when Blue Bell finally introduced Cake Batter ice cream to stores, it was white cake-batter flavored instead of yellow cake batter. Why the change, idiots? The yellow tastes much better. I'll stick to buying Blue Bell ice cream at my local H-E-B, but certainly not the Cake Batter flavor.
