Getting through customs can be a long process. It is a 2 step process here. The first one is paying the $50 USD / $100 USD (if you are American) and obtaining papers. The second process is going through security and getting your passport stamped. It was about an hourish process and there was no AC.

It looks like they are building a new airport so hopefully things will be smoother then.
