One star ONLY for the service reps I've worked with at David McDavid Honda of Frisco. They have generally tried to be helpful, but end of the day, the service department is very frustrating.

I have a 2015 Honda Fit that has had its transmission replaced because the factory did not fill the transmission with fluid and have had an ongoing battle with water collecting in my rear passenger-side floorboard. It has taken no less than 5 trips (think I'm up to 6 or 7) to remedy the issue, to the point of having the carpet replaced in the entire car. Each time I have left the shop, I've been told the only reason I'll need to come back is for oil changes. Guess what -- I won't even be back for an oil change. I'll find another dealership, further away, for any service and will be looking to get out of this vehicle ASAP.

Finally, at the end of my last visit, I asked what my options were to get out of this vehicle and into something at same cost (either at same duration of loan or extending loan--wasn't looking for a handout). Was told directly:

1. Honda does not buy back vehicles
2. Not really the dealership's problem (both because I didn't buy it from that specific dealership AND because 'they just sell the vehicles'---mine is more of a Honda America issue---WHAT?!--this was infuriating)
3. Would have to have my vehicle appraised for trade-in --- as in, "we don't care what you owe or the problems you've had"

So why bother? Why would I do business with this dealership? I may as well take my business elsewhere and get out of the vehicle. I will NOT be going back to Honda for anything. Just poor all the way around.
