My wife and I had a wonderful time at the hotel. I cant say enough wonderful things about our experience. The hotel is probably the closest thing to a castle we will ever stay. The nastalga of the building is breathtaking. I agree that the rooms are a little small, but the building was built in the mid-1800's and we didnt come to Banff to sit in our rooms. With that being said, the bathroom was finished with white granite tiles and it was completely updated, so my wife was pleased. The staff was helpful and better than just about any we've had in the US. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone who will listen.
