JPL is a fantastic institution that allows aspiring engineers to get hands-on experience with actual ongoing and future space exploration missions. As a former intern with three summers under his belt I can say, with much enthusiasm and confidence, that I learned so much from bright engineers who inspired me to reach for the stars and "dare mighty things". If the stars are aligned in your favor, definitely apply for an internship or fellowship!
