The hotel is clean & elegant enough that it doesn't show it's age. The cocktail reception room & ballroom were rather bare but all staff was friendly. Our room looked updated but surprisingly spartan. I had to load the toilet paper roll myself. There were only 2 towels, no wash cloths. The coffee was terrible & there was a used coffee filter/pod left in the machine. The bed was comfortable but there was no warm comforter, just a bunch of sheets & a thin down blanket. It was clean & had no bad smells. I guess this is what you get when you have a discounted rate for block rooms.
