I had a terrible experience with this hotel! We checked in on 02/11/2017. When we got into the room, the room was cold so we turned on the heat. After about 20 minutes, we realized that the room was getting colder instead of warmer. The room went down to 14 degrees in the winter! We called front desk and they had asked us if we turned on the fan. Yes, the fan was turned onto and the thermostat was set onto "HEAT". Front desk said that they would send someone up to look at the heat. After about 20 minutes of waiting, no one came to the room.. so we called down to front desk to cancel and we would deal with it after as we had a reservation we had to get to.
When we got back to the hotel we went to front desk and they kindly switched rooms for us. upon swapping rooms, we turned on the heat. The temperature of the room was originally 17 degrees. We set the thermostat on HEAT setting to 23.5. After about 3 hours, the room went up to 18. It literally went up 1 degrees, WOW. We have stayed in hotel rooms and have never had any issues with the heat. This was by far THE WORST experience we have had.
When switching rooms, the front desk attendant let us know that they had one room left and would be able to switch us. I am 100% positive, the only reason this room was left empty was because the heating DID NOT WORK!!!!! How could you switch us from a room where the heat setting was making room colder to another room that did not work?
Frustrated, we decided to check out at 2 in the morning. Yes at 2 in the morning, tired as ever, we decided to leave IT WAS IMPOSSIBLE TO SLEEP IN A ROOM THAT WAS 18 DEGREES IN TEMPERATURE IN THE WINTER. We did not book a weekend getaway to get sick while sleeping in our own hotel room which we paid over $200 for. I would rate this 0 stars if I could.
