What should have been a fun night soon turned into...

What should have been a fun night soon turned into a lot of frustration. We visit de Berk regularly and therefore decided to go out for dinner for my mother's birthday. It started quite chaotically. It took ages to get the menus and to include drinks at all (Table 218).

After we finally passed on our choices and these were put on the table 30 minutes later (forgot spoons), I had to go after the "promised baguette" myself and it was put on the table after the starter. Of course that can happen, but then our starter was on the table for another hour. In the end I walked to the wait staff to ask if they would clean it up and if we could order new drinks.

When we got the main course after more than an hour, some things were missing here and there and there was some miscommunication about the drinks. After the main course we decided to leave because we were waiting for more than half an hour with empty plates.

The problem with the operation is increasingly visible and it has become very chaotic. A pity because the food is always fine, but this ruined the dinner for us.
