Hartig is a nice warm place where you can enjoy all kinds of snacks and drink your drink ... You feel very welcome here, even though you only walk in at 23:00 you are welcomed by the staff and the owner super nice . You can order anything from the menu until 00:00.

We spent a nice evening there on New Year's Eve and ate very well. All dishes were excellently prepared. It's a bit like a tapas bar and you can really share the food. Great concept - keep it up!

Delicious eaten with very nice staff who feel the atmosphere well. Tip: just be surprised with all kinds of dishes and finish with a delicious whiskey, plenty of choice!

Apart from the drinks we have paid for 74 there. As far as we are concerned, an excellent price / quality ratio because we really ate delicious food. The team is involved and friendly.

Everything was delicious, but don't leave here without tasting the steak medallions!

We just happened across this place and were warmly greeted and promptly seated. The service was excellent, and they took the time to explain the whole menu in English for us as well. The foccia and dips were incredible, we also had fish, a salad and prawns and all were very good.

Hearty, right from the opening, I am already in this business! Great I immediately got a warm feeling from the warmth that radiates the ambiance. I have eaten and drunk there several times with family, friends and colleagues.

The staff is also very friendly and provides very good service.
What is also nice is that they rent a jam session and band about monthly, which provides a nice evening and extra atmosphere.

Delicious eaten! We had the 2018 menu, appetizer, prosecco and 3 dishes per person for 29.50. Super nice menu, with a number of 'standard' / well-known dishes (carpaccio, serrano ham, gambas, etc) and also a number of special dishes. Good food, nice terrace and top service. I will return!

The restaurant is a local gem that my husband stumbled upon and the restaurants history combined with the food did not disappoint! We had the french onion soup, muscles au gratin, escargot au gratin, muscle dinner, sole dinner, and ribeye dinner. The food was unforgettable, the steak perfectly cook -the best I've ever had.

Kind of a tapas bar with a sharing food concept. However, the price of the portions is quite high for what you get. In terms of taste it could definitely be better: little refined and quite basic. Not recommended. There are better restaurants in Rotterdam.

In itself a cozy interior, friendly staff. Dishes tasted good, but for the quantity that you get per dish, the price is up to par. Too bad how the waitress took up the complaint about the fries. After she took the fries back to the kitchen, she came to tell us that according to the cook, the fries should be 'like that'. Whether the customer sells nonsense or not (I personally don't think the majority of the fries were not cooked on the inside), just arrange new fries without entering into discussion. The second bowl of fries that we finally got tasted fine.

Mijn favoriete plek in Rotterdam. Sharing dinner, dus de kans om verschillende goede (echt heerlijke) gerechten te proeven . Fijne leuke mensen, familie bedrijf, hart voor Hartig straalt er van af. Wat kan ik nog meer zeggen? Sfeervol ingericht, iets in de luwte tov de Witte de Withstraat, parking tegenover. O ja en de oesters zijn top. Op woensdag happy hour!

We had a very nice evening there. The staff was very nice and the food was great. We had a special (3 dishes p.P., champagne and amuse geule) and are full and happy again gone out. The number of small dishes for 2 people was absolutely sufficient, 4 would have been enough for us. We recommend!

We were a group of 3 who went attracted by the good reviews. We were disappointed by the food and the pricing.
About the food. Part of it was raw and part was overcooked. Some were overly salty or overly intense.
Regarding the pricing, for the size of the dishes we expected more content.
The set up is good but the content is not in the same range.

Very good food at Hartig. Very nice restaurant with a super concept; shared dining. Many vegetarian dishes (fine!) We enjoyed the stuffed aubergine, patatas bravas, the focaccia, the tuna and the spinach filo pie.

There is a very relaxed atmosphere and the staff are all friendly and correct and pay attention to whether we need anything else.

Oh, and the non-alcoholic cocktail of Blueberry / Rosemary / Ginger / Ginger Ale is to die for!

Fantastic innovative cuisine, wonderful genuine staff, great atmosphere. Just a super experience in every way. We especially loved the Gamba, the filo spinach pastry and the unusual spicing on the patatas bravas. We wish you much success...you will have it!

We visited Hartig with a group of people from different nations and enjoyed a superb changing tap beer with some snacks and I can only say that man oh man. The place is tidy and clean with a crazy comfy atmosphere, and the staff was a) super nice, and b) fluent in English, making our visit a top notch experience!I'm in Rotterdam for one day trip by chance I visited this bar in order to have couple of drinks,but the way I was hosted by this young man his name is Camilo made me so impressed by the way he treated me with out he knew me ,I m in hospitality business, and I know how it works,but I can say that the warmth welcoming I feelt made me stay longer and order some food that I wasn'teven thinking to eat ,the food was yummy,but the service was awesome by this young man Camilo I promise my self that I will be back again in my next holidays Love the place

Traveling the Netherlands we ve been looking for a place where it s possible to eat fresh, well spiced and especially healthy food. We ve finally found it in Hartig! Good prices for great food. Also the staff has been very friendly. I highly recommend this place for a fancy night out.

Nice casual place for drinks and dinner. All kinds of small bites (like tapas) but adds up to be slightly on the expensive side. Great casual atmosphere. Almost feels like a Grolsch Kornuit brand store.

Eaten here last Saturday and it was a great evening. Although there was something wrong with our reservation, we were immediately made aware that this was not our problem. The shared dining principle is fun and the food is of a good quality. There is plenty of choice. Worth repeating.

Great environment, great vibe, great service. Everything is served in family style (sharing); they recommend two per person because of the small serving size. For my party of 3, we ordered 8 dishes and 3 drinks. It is more expensive than I anticipated, but I got to try a variety of dishes, ranging from lamb racks, steak tartar, to mussels.

A jewel in the center of Rotterdam, when it comes to tasty and culinary food. Be surprised by the shared dining and delicious cocktails, mocktails, various wines and (special) beers. No menu where fries predominate, but a delicious balance between meat dishes and vegetables. With the hospitality of Stefan and his team, this is definitely a must to visit !!

Do you like fish? Then Bistro Hartig is the place for you. There I and my husband enjoyed everything that comes straight out of the sea during the Coast 2 Coast event. And the good news is that all that goodness is on the new map. A good reason for us to do it again.

the atmosphere is good,
