Great Zoological collection and the visitor facilities are good. A little expensive but worth it. Make sure to prepare for parking issues, otherwise take the Bus. There is a FREE City Loop bus (#98) that you can take from most Hotels in the CBD. We used the FREE #98 bus to go everywhere in Adelaide. There are limited spaces on Frome Rd and Plane Tree Drive [ONE DIRECTION OF TRAVEL RD] (Botanic Gardens). Your best bet is on Plane Tree Drive (Botanic Gardens) enter off Hackney Rd. It is often easier to find a park near to the Botanic Gardens side and only a short walk to the Zoo entrance rather than driving closer to the Zoo and then finding out there is no parking available.
