I called to schedule an appointment the day before...

I called to schedule an appointment the day before as surprise for my wife. Found out family was staying over longer than anticipated and called to reschedule. Was told I couldn t and that because it was within 24 hours they were going to have to charge me 50% of the service which was never told me when I booked it. How can I cancel within 24 hours if I called and booked the day before? If your going to have such a ridiculous policy -at least make sure your employers are making customers aware prior to taking credit card information. Disputing with bank and getting my money back.
