We booked the property over the weekend to spend some quality time with family and stayed at Room 628. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed with amenities and staff at Marriott. Since we had food restrictions, we decided to take home food for us and our 3 year daughter. Surprisingly there was no microwave in the entire building for guests. We are frequent traveller to Niagara and this time we decided to stay at Marriott, this is the first property we visited which did not had a basic thing like microwave. We requested at the front office to help us reheat our food at the staff cafeteria microwave which they refused as the staff was not at all approachable. During check out when we expressed our concern we were told that due to food safety and ingredients they cannot reheat the food for guest. We were very surprised with their answer as this not what was mentioned to us during the request, Infact, we had a complete list of ingredients to share for our food. had they wanted to know about our food. I hope you can understand the agony as we were there to enjoy but had to starve all night as we just couldn't consume cold food. Being myself from hospitality industry, i believe it was the attitude of the staff which makes a difference. I am not writing this to expect anything or get any freebies but hopefully to get this to the right people and address the issue.Its great to see Hotel was very busy but customer service should never be neglected. I would just sum up that working in a corporate organization and in my social circle, I would never recommend or return to this property ever. Thanks
