Definitely worth visiting to see some of the famous eggs in real life. Apart from the eggs, the museum interior is very beautiful and worth a visit by itself. In addition, there are many other interesting pieces in the museum such as old tea jars, vases, paintings etc.

The museum is pretty small and not as crowded as for example the Hermitage. Two hours should be sufficient for a visit. Also, check out the souvenir shop which has some cute eggs and books related to Faberge.
