This hotel reception staff were very rude to the visitors. Me and my friend were told we were not allowed to visit our friend who was staying in this hotel just because 'two single ladies are not allowed as visitors inside this hotel'.
Actually at the beginning, a female staff asked my ID and I gave her, then as our friend who were staying inside the hotel confused her room number and the other male staff literally stared at me and rolled his eyes. Then the manager came over and surprisingly he informed us two single ladies are not allowed to visit anyone staying in Al Ghurair hotel.
My job requires me to travel all over the world and I was shocked to find out that there is a hotel in this world would deny any guest just because they are single!!!
Hotel staff at the reception didn't have basic skill and manners to handle customer and the manager was even worse with very discriminating attitude towards 'single' woman.
I would never go to this hotel as it was the worst experience I had in any hotel just because rude and useless hotel staff at the reception!!!
