Chesapeake produces modern-style Shakespeare plays (with some others thrown in.) It's got high production values and a beautiful space in a converted bank. One of the most comfortable and beautiful spaces in Baltimore. The stagecraft is excellent. For example, they made the bear in Winter's Tale out of shadow and some puppet parts, and it had a twenty foot arm span and looked amazing. This was my first season ticket in Baltimore and its always been among the best. I cannot recommend it strongly enough.
