Very disappointed in this place. I bought my boyfriend a groupon since I'm not familiar with all of Portland and he needed to relax for a very important week, and this place has good reviews on groupon so I wanted him to try out this place and perhaps he would return. Never ever wasting time with this place! Horrible service.
My boyfriend had a horrible massage by a man named Andrew. He was not gentle nor applied enough pressure. He mainly used his elbows and not his hands, and instead of gentle massages, he gave my boyfriend up and down streaks with barely no pressure nor comfort.
Andrew did not speak nor communicate, nor checked in with my boyfriend during his one hour massage. My boyfriend was vocal at the beginning of the session but Andrew didn't even speak on what he suggested or asked my boyfriend what he would like. A massage therapist is suppose to be vocal, gentle, and relaxing for their clients! I'm glad I didn't pay the full price because I would've been more pissed!! This is unacceptable.
When my boyfriend checked in, he expected to be able to relax before the massage at the jacuzzi or sauna but instead was told he had to have the massage first. Not sure if this part was protocol, but they should say it and be more specific in their instructions.
