tl;dr for orders shipped to Europe, there are very high extra costs caused by UPS and customs. The NIC industries did not inform about this in the pre-sales process.

Detailed review:

The pre-sale contact with the customer service around ordering custom swatches was unresponsive and not very polite (e.g. emails without greetings and not all questions answered).

The actual order process was okay and the (then different) customer service reps were good, polite and competent. Also the delivered custom swatches were good and helped to make a decision and also the price ($10 per customer swatch) was okay.

Super bad user experience though was the fact, that after I received my order from Prismatic Powders / NIC Industries I also received an invoice over $60 from UPS. Before placing the order I asked the the NIC Industries customer service about the total costs (incl. sending the swatches to Europe) and I got the information, that I had to pay $39 in total incl. $13 for shipment.

Since NIC has a lot of partners / re-sellers in Germany, for me it is hard to believe, that they were not aware of the fact, that this order is coming with extra costs caused by UPS / customs.
