I would like to start off by saying that we have been attending the church for 2 1/2 years. My younger sister attending the junior high camp for the last two years. This year was the worst year ever for camp! When we went to go and get all the paper work. The woman helping us was a complete jerk! Her attitude did not belong in a church environment. Her attitude was worse than a person you meet on the street. We were okay with that and just brushed it off. The part that really upsets us is that my sister was verbally harassed by more than one of the youth pastors (that I would rather not name.) Our family comes from a broken home due to past abuse (verbal, physical, and sexual.) So my family is very much aware of it when it is happening. It saddens us because we feel like that should not take place in the house of the Lord, under any circumstances. I just want other people to be aware of this so that it does not happen to someone else. If any of the pastors do read this I hope that they reevaluate where they are coming from. You chose a career path in public service( For God). I would like to just remind you that you are helping mold the children of the next generation.
