This hotel was fine for a three star hotel, slightly lower quality than a premier inn. We were quite comfortable but we had a few issues that stop me giving a better rating. The price was fair for the room, breakfast and pool.
The room was small, but adequate for a couple but became too small once we had a travel cot (provided by the hotel) in there. The room was a little on the chilly side and we needed to use the heating even at the beginning of September, when we haven't had it on at home at all. The sheet didn't fit the mattress, but it was clean. The bathroom was clean and warm. The shower was almost too small, had some black mould around the door and the floor bowed slightly as you moved. There was a heated towel rail in the bathroom which was great to keep the room warm and the towels dry. It was however very hot and I was worried about my 2 year old touching it and burning themselves. The spa facility is a lovely addition. There are times when it's adults only or closed for classes, so that might be worth checking before your stay if you really want to make the most of the pool facilities. Breakfast was included and it was good with plenty on offer. Cooked breakfast (eggs to order), fruit, cereals, pastries, juice, hot drinks and cold cuts. Don't bother ordering eggs as whenever any of our party of 9 did over two mornings they never came out. Just enjoy the buffet of food laid out.
Plenty of parking and lovely views from the rooms our party used.
