Great place for a 5 star family vacation as it's integrated with a waterpark. Service quality has to improve as I have seen 5 star properties with much better service standards. They aren't flexible to some requests and room service is horribly slow and needs multiple reminders.

Breakfast options are wide and tasty. There are two options for breakfast namely -

1. Kaleidoscope which has Mediterranean, Indian, African and Greek & Levant food.
2. Saffron which has Asian, Indian, and Malaysian options with interactive dining experience.

Staff are very helpful and front office check-in experience was very welcoming - made us feel at home.
Room is quite spacious and has panoramic views of the ocean from the balcony.

The second day brought my experience level down where the staff didn't return calls for a late check out request and a confirmation for complimentary access to Kids Club. They are inflexible to requests and aren't very accommodating. Perhaps they bend over more for some guests but that's my guess.

We visited the The Lost Chambers Aquarium which is a very small aquarium which ends as soon as it starts. The fishes and aquatic creatures were nice to see though. In the entrance they offer an animated picture of you playing with sea creatures for AED 45. But they don't tell you that there is no physical pictures but a download link. What a downer!

A lot of staff seemed to be untrained unable to show where restrooms are and in the Kaleidoscope restaurant they didn't have enough plates and bowls as it was too crowded and replacements were too slow.

Overall the experience was a mixed bag as some were good and some weren't as good.
