They repo your car, after being behind for one month on payments and repeatedly telling you they won't repo your car, as long as you give some of your payment! The car I had was completely ratchet! The sticker in the window said the oil hadn't been changed since 13, 3 years without an oil change, when I bought it! I was paying over $500 a month for an 08 Taurus (that they charged me almost $15,000 for) with several burn marks, super glue to fix the ripped seats and a hanging bumper because it had the wheel well ripped out and never replaced! I had to waste my time and gas to take it to KCKS to a shop to fix the brakes because the car shook uncontrollably when slowing down to stop, after driving it off the lot! When they should've been fixed before even putting it on the lot, for sale! A salesman from AutoStart kept insisting it was the tires and there was nothing they'd do about it! The shop fixed them (AutoStart did pay for it) and 2 months later they needed to be changed again (they only changed one set, not both)! They wanted $800 to cancel my loan and then a significant amount of money (as a down payment) on a newer/nicer car (if they had one, I seriously doubt it)! An associate John, flat out refused to let me talk to Keith (manager) when I called, numerous times. He lied to the other staff, insisting I'd never called or answered their calls (lies)! I was treated and talked to so badly, I dreaded calling for any reason or walking thru their door! I'd never recommend going thru AutoStart to anyone, not even my worst enemy!! If I could've given 0 stars, I would've! Because 1 star is giving them way too much credit! The new staff sucks! Stay away from them! There is so many more places to go, especially one who pays for your taxes and tags! Just do your research, like I should have!
