Had planned to stay at the Big4 Goldfields Park, however the chap on the phone was not willing to allow me to check in at 8.30pm. Strange... it wasn't like I was asking to arrive after midnight. Also quoted $38 for a basic powered site which is very expensive (especially in May), but appears to be the norm for many Big4 parks now. My advice would be to shop around with the independent parks for a better deal, especially if you don't require a jumping pillow etc.
