We have been using Lightspeed for several years no...

We have been using Lightspeed for several years now. Up until our renewal it was great. But within the last six months we have had more headaches than you can imagine. The credit card processing is now being done in house (Lightspeed credit card processing) and is absolutely awful! We have had so many issues and it has cost us money because of errors their system can't resolve. Reporting is awful and good luck reconciling to your accounting system! <- Accounting person wrote this

Cannot say we are pleased with the result. Don't know what happened but they can't fix the issue we have. Blame game now. The previous credit card processing company, CAYAN was great. NEVER had issues once we figured out how to access the account. While Lightspeed is a pretty good product, the price DID go up A LOT at renewal and the only way to keep the cost down was to allow Lightspeed to process our credit card transactions. We have had issues since then processing cards. Especially refunds that somehow at times are refunded to the customer TWICE.

Lightspeed contends it wasn't their program causing the issue. It was US on our end. Hmmmmm, 4 years and no problems at all. Suddenly after the conversion it happens at least twice? Same employees using the system. Only change is the credit card processing? And it's our fault? No, Lightspeed has (or had) a glitch somewhere in the system. If it's fixed, good! SHOULD BE AND THEY, LIIGHTSPEED, SHOULD HAVE MADE US WHOLE!

Bottom line, your first contracted time will be a breeze and you will be very happy. After you're first contract ends, things change. Sorry, I like Lightspeed, just not as happy as I once was. Sad part is, they really haven't done much to keep our business. Their reply comment was made weeks after our first rating & only then did they try to appear to care. Sorry, but sometimes the truth hurts. I was 100% telling folks to go Lightspeed. Not now.
