Really good day - and would have been their motto "Best Day Ever" if we could've gotten on the Steel Vengeance more than once. We waited for 2 hours for one ride on it, but my feet couldn't take standing on concrete for another two hours for another ride. Super new coaster, one of the best.
Ate at Chickie & Pete's - the crab fries are a must-have. Dinner at Melt, also delicious. Waddled back out onto the Midway to ride a few more before heading home.
2019 visit: We just don't understand the trouble with Maverick. It's not a new coaster, is it really that undependable that it doesn't open on time and is often down? Also, CP - please train your ride ops to call for single riders. It's hard to watch empty seats go by when you've been standing in line for a very long time.
