Only open for about 2 years, it's a fairly new place that popped up in a photography Facebook group I follow. I'd always wanted to frolic and get shots in a sunflower field but never found the right opportunity to. Not far away from where we live in Winston-Salem, we took our baby out to check it out. To our surprise, there was plenty of room to park and it wasn't crowded, which was important to us because we were concerned with COVID. My husband asked the folks at the entrance if there was an admission fee and they told him there was no charge, but a donation was encouraged. Not sure if this was because it was the end of the season, but I'm hearing there is a fee. Also, unless you're professionally taking photographs, there's no charge to take pictures here either which was awesome for us, because the abundance of sunflowers made for great shots! I want to come by again and try for golden hour shots next time.
