We have been members of TSTI for more than 20 years and it is truly our temple home. A welcoming place with warm clergy, we enjoy attending services and being a part of a reform community that opens its heart to all who want it to be their spiritual home.

Not a congregant, but served this place in my job capacity as a caterer with David Ellis Events. Very lovely people, and nice music as well. The inside of the synagogue has neat architecture.

this is a warm and nurturing temple. the clergy are always ready to speak and meet members of the temple and the community when there is a request. the school is outstanding and attracts children from families not members. Rabbi dan Cohen is A+++.

The TSTI community is incredibly welcoming and enthusiastic. We have only amazing things to say about its preschool, religious school, clergy and congregation.

So grateful that the TSTI community has been our spiritual home for more than 20 years. We raised our daughters at TSTI and many of our good friends are TSTI connections. It's always been the warmest and most welcoming Reform synagogue with an abundance of opportunities to worship, learn, engage in social justice and community involvement. We've met beautiful families from surrounding communities including South Orange, Maplewood, Millburn, Short Hills, Livingston and West Orange. For those seeking a place for spiritual connection to Judaism, the weekly and holiday worship services are a unique blend of both the traditional and contemporary and always includes beautiful music. The outstanding and devoted clergy, staff and educators are involved with members of TSTI across all ages, creating interesting and provocative experiences for all.

TSTI provides an incredible and welcoming community. I particularly enjoy the clergy, the experience at services, and groups like (RE)Connection that allow for more intimate group interaction.

Fifteen years ago we moved to NJ and we've looking for a preschool for our son and a new congregational home for our family. We were lucky to find TSTI. It is a welcoming and open community that cares about the world outside of its walls. TSTI is a partner in the Interfaith Food Pantry of the Oranges and runs a soup kitchen on the second Saturday of each month.

Temple Sharey Tefilo-Israel is the most inclusive, warm synagogue I have ever been part of. I am so proud of how we are educating our next generation of jewish families both in our classrooms and through our examples of community involvement.
