Fun place to hang, browse, and shop! We were here on a Monday afternoon around 4pm and it wasn't that busy. The first floor is where most of the customers are milling about. My favorite section is the toys/children's area. They have an interesting selection of toys and creative things on the first floor. We entered at their 11th Street door and exited through their Pearl Street door which is where the checkout is. The 11th Street door is where you go to sell them your books, or at least that's what I overhead someone doing. The second floor contains mainly adult fiction/nonfiction books and is somewhat quiet with one or two other groups of people. Near the second floor entryway, they have this cool Buddha Board for test play that is tempting to buy. The third floor is where the zen space is, from floor pillows, meditation books, incenses, to massaging tools you can try before buying. I was tempted to buy the cedar incense but checked reviews and decided it was cheaper to purchase online. However I did end up buying some erasers that were the same as manufacturer prices and cheaper than Amazon. I also bought this cute, tiny figurine with no barcode and the cashier scanned it as a $1.50 author button instead of the marked $0.75. I didn't realize this until I left so make sure to check your receipt. Overall: a very eclectic, cozy place to hang.
