I believe that Janet Yellen made a grave mistake today. She just showed that she and the rest of the "Guvs" are looking more at China than the US. We are at 5.2 % unemployment, that is where you said that we needed to be. Yes, PCE is running behind, but nothing in econ stats is always going to be what we want it to be. A 25bp. hike is suitable. I cannot believe that the FRB is more concerned with China.We are not allies of China. And, monetary policy is one way that we can hit them, they have done everything that they can to hurt us. But in finance, we still rule. Yet, the Guv's just bent over . Raise the rates to where they need to be. And no longer be an ally of China. Get back to Econ 101.
