We bought a used Subaru from Blue Spruce last Saturday morning. By the afternoon, the car was having problems with the power-steering system.

Of course, we had signed a bunch of paperwork acknowledging that, while Blue Spruce does provide a 30-day warranty, that warranty only applies to the engine and transmission. (They also warranty the repairs they have done on the car for 12 months.)

Even so, we called them up first thing Monday morning totally bummed that our new (used) car was already having problems and hopeful that they would warranty it anyway.

The manager and the salesman were awesome, and they clearly felt bad that our 2-day-old car was giving us grief. They set us up with an appointment at Super Rupair, paid for everything and got us a loaner car to use while the car was getting fixed.

It was awesome. I really appreciate that they back their cars.
