I want to preface the below with a compliment for the front desk staff. The female who assisted me during check-in was fantastic.

Getting to the details - Don't stay here if you can help it. Stay across the river in the Fairfield or even the Holiday Inn on the hill. This is my first and last time at this hotel.

Upon walking into my hallway I was greeted by fluorescent lighting that was taken right out of a hospital ward, I could easily hear the other guests in their rooms talking, and there was a pungent smell in the air that reminded me of a dusty attic.

I walked into my room and the pungent smell worsened and I felt the desire to backtrack and act as if I had never arrived here.

Keep an eye on the walls/tables as you'll occasionally catch them moving. No, not because they're designed to be that way, but rather due to small insects that like to crawl around. Yes, ladies and gentlemen, ants - a hotel guest's best friend!

If you took the time to read through my review after I said don't stay here, I'll kindly remind you - Don't Stay Here! Change your reservation to another hotel (i.e.: Fairfield Inn or Holiday Inn).

You've been warned!
