If you walk to the arch from the river side finding the entrance can be confusing, it's not at the archway it's up the hill and actually built into the hill but once you're aware of that, the signs are easy to follow. I definitely suggest buying your tickets online in advance. We walked into the entrance and walked right through security to get to the tram entrance. We did not eat at the cafe but it smelled delicious. There are vending machines for those not interested in the cafe but are thirsty or just need a snack. There is definitely a lot of history here and if you enjoy history lessons this is definitely a must see.
