At the time of our visit, the place was pretty busy. So much so, our order was messed up and forgotten about. They gave me a refund on what was ordered but not delivered. A discount and/or a sorry for the hourlong wait would have been nice.
The place is big and the outdoor "garden" stretches out quite a bit. So if you ordered food, don't go too far out as the staff will only shout your table number from the top of their hill. If you miss it, then you've missed it.
They had a bouncy castle when we were there, for the kids to play with, but please parents, mind your kids.
So if I where to be the pub, I'd definitely work on staff training and service to clients. And maybe rethink the whole approach to serving food as far back as the river side. Poor staff, runing up and down that moat.
