GREAT PLACE TO GROW: My legacy company was acquired by Montrose Environmental Group just little under a year ago. I have to say all of our employees including myself were nervous going from a small mom and pop to a corporate world. However, now after a year I could not be happier. I have the opportunity to work at the corporate office, just so happened they had space for the Project Managers and Data entry clerks from my office. I get the privilege to interact with the executive leadership team daily. I have felt so welcome from day one and been given so many opportunities and new experiences. I am constantly asked where I want to be in 5-10 years by my superiors, and feel the true support that they will help get me there. From my experience, one of Vijay's goal it to get all his employees not only where they should be best to grow this company, but where they want to be. At a social event for the company, Vijay was speaking with a newly hired Project Manager and he was asking how it was going. The gentleman said it was good with shrugging shoulders. Vijay asked what he wanted to be doing and he indicated Design Engineering. Vijay immediately called Ryan Brokamp from ES Engineering and set up a phone interview for the gentleman. That is amazing that someone at his level cares so much to not just talk the talk, but he makes things happen. Every time one of our technicians come to the corporate office I try my best to introduce them to Vijay. Not everyone in a company of 750 will get to interact with the CEO, but every time I introduce them, Vijay makes them feel welcome and truly listens to them about how things are going. No only Vijay, but the rest of the executive team truly have such passion for this company, their skills and making sure the rest of Montrose feels supported. Our employees successes are the companies successes and our leadership wants to celebrate everyone's successes. In just a year, Montrose has given me opportunities to feel the freedom to try new things, branch out my skills and go after what I want and the support to make it happen.

I understand their will be growing pains with any acquisition. I expect Montrose has made mistakes and not made every single employee happy, but I can say this, they try. I have seen daily the executive team correcting many policies that were put in place, that just didn't work. Not everything is perfect and when it isn't you try again. I am thankful to have a team that is not perfect, that understands mistakes, that keeps trying new things, being creative, innovative and connecting its employees and clients with opportunities. We have such a great team of skilled technicians, project managers, technical experts and leaders. I am proud to work for Montrose Environmental Group.
