Steer clear if you have allergies as they will NOT accomodate them. Beyond disappointed with this place, absolutely awful. It started when my sister booked a meal here for us and a dozen other friends, she was told to let them know in advance our orders. I was hesitant about going to the Dirty Bottles as I'm a vegan and they focus mostly on meat, but most places are very understanding and try their best to accomodate if you give them notice. I tried to email the Dirty Bottles asking about their vegan options, I got no response for 2 weeks. My sister was also not getting responses by email so she suggested facebook messaging them, which I did. I sent my first message reading:
'Hello, I'm going for a meal at the Dirty Bottles and I would love to know what vegan options you have as that is my dietary requirement.
Thank you'
I got a polite response saying:
'We do have a couple of house burgers which are vegan, The Winter is coming (spicy bean patty) and the Raj Bhaji (onion Bhaji patty) are both suitable. If there is anything in particular that you would like just let us know and we will do our best to accommodate that.
Hope this helps'
Neither of these options were something I would like so I responded:
'If I brought my own vegan cheese would it be possible to make the mushroom ravoli and the veggie pizza fries vegan?'
I than didnt get a response for around 6 hours, confused I sent a message saying:
'Is this possible?'
And to my delight I got one back saying:
'Hi Hannah the manager Daryl is off today, but I can t see why couldn t do that for you.'
Everything seemed great and I brought the cheese, however 20 minutes before we were meant to begin the meal, my sister got an email saying that the ravioli has egg in it and that another person attending the meal couldn't have their choice of a chicken nugget due to them not having the right ingredients. This was so last minute and ultimately frustrating, we had no choice but to go and once we arrived we got given a less than great table (it was right next to the kitchen, you could hear pans cluttering, the staff talking and the chef loudly singing). We all tried to ignore it and the manager came over, he wasn't particularly talkative or apologetic and asked me what I wanted, I asked if the pizza fries could still be made vegan with my cheese and he replied yes. It was a small, unsatisfying dish and I couldn't even get the cocktail I wanted as when I tried to order a mojito I was told the ice crushing machine was broken. Overall I will not be returning, and it was disappointing to be let down when we all spent a lot of money there. 0/10
