On April 16, 2018 my girlfriend mom was hit by a car and she was taken to this hospital. My girlfriend and I arrived at the hospital at 130pm and her mom and husband been there since 9am. Mind you she was not seen by a doctor until 230pm. She was laying in pain so we went to ask for some heating pads or pain medicine. They handed us some heating pads and walked away. One hour later someone walked in and gave her pain meds and basically pushed something up her IV that was painful. Didn't speak to her nothing, not explaining what was being done. If asked it was like pulling teeth. Around 4pm they said she had no broken bones and would be in some pain for a couple days. She is being discharged, she said she was drowsy from the medicine given and they basically said she had to get out the bed and she is being discharged. They handed her the paper work and the last name was incorrect. My girlfriend mom and husband do not speak English and the person that took her info spoke only english. We told the nurse and doctors that she needs her documents in the correct name. They stated that they told her earlier, we asked did you ask in English or Spanish they said english. We said she didn't understand what was stated, and if they had a translator, they said yes but one was not needed. Smh ..supposely she was suppose to understand that her marriage certificate and divorce papers was needed to be given to the medical dept in order for her paperwork to reflect her current last name. So we attempted to gather that information but one problem occurred the medical records close at 4pm. So even her prescriptions was in the wrong last name. We told them something needed to be done so she can atleast get her scripts filled. We had to request for a supervisor and the supervisor basically see what went wrong but won't own up to it. And she went to get this stupid woman to state my gf. Mom understood what she told her. Common get some got damn brains. Clearly she don't speak English, this is just plain. Negligence
