After my close friend s recent service at O brie...

After my close friend s recent service at O brien against my warnings I feel compelled to write an honest review of my experience here. 1st experience was an oil change, in the parking lot I realized they overfilled it by almost a whole quart. They tried playing it off to me as normal. 2nd experience was an estimate for a big service. They wanted to charge me about 150 each for transmission fluid, rear diff fluid, and front diff fluid. After doing my own research I discovered the transmission fluid and front diff fluid are the same. So they wanted to charge me about $150 for a service that doesn t exist. That was my last time there. Now my friend brought his newer Mazda in and they said his transmission fluid looked dirty and needed to be flushed. Funny thing is, all Mazda s with Skyactiv don t need transmission fluid serviced for the life of the car and that comes straight from the Mazda website. He still brought his car in only for an oil change and tire rotation. Due to him just having had a blowout, he had one new tire on the car and it was plain to see that they returned the car to him without the tires having been rotated. The folks at Obrien are nice and you ll think you re getting treated well if you don t know much about cars. But anyone who does this is scum. They take advantage of people s lack of knowledge and don t do the service properly or charge you for stuff you don t need. I still frequent the dealership for parts and there are a few reps that won t even make eye contact with me after being called out. I hope this saves someone a headache.
