My sister is a patient here and she is happy with her doctor and the care she is receiving. A really unfortunate thing happened. My sister spent hours preparing for surgery only to be told that the surgery had to be postponed because there wasn't a room available in ICU. The surgery had to be scheduled a week later since the doctor only performs surgery on Tuesdays. What a disappointment this was for my sister and all of us who care about her and love her.

If you haven't heard, the parking is crazy here. On my second visit here, I decided to take public transportation from the East Bay and it was so easy. I took BART to the Powell Street station and transferred to the N Judah Muni which was in the same station and then got off the bus at Kirkham Street. I walked in to the garage building, took the elevator to the street level, and walked across the street to the hospital. It took about 50 minutes including the wait for BART and Muni. Easy peasy! I recommend public transportation. Don't waste time looking for parking on the streets and in the full/crowded parking lots.
