Purchased a 6' Remote Drain Plug to put on my Trit...

Purchased a 6' Remote Drain Plug to put on my Triton TR186. Attempted to mount in the splash well according to the instructions that came with it. After drilling the hole in the splash well I find out the control unit is too short to get all the way through the splash well. The splash wells on the Tritons are thicker than what comes on alot of the boats. After numerous calls to Tim at Flow-Rite trying to get a fix for the situation, still no fix. This has been about 2 months now and I have not heard a word from them. I was told they were on it and would have a fix shortly. I suggested that they post on bass boat sites that Triton owners should hold off until a fix is found and also put a bulletin out to the distributors with the same info. Haven't seen anything as of yet. Not a very professional way to run a company in my opinion. Guys with the Tritons, steer clear of this product and company for the time being. Product is definitely faulty and the company does't seem to care. I am sitting with a TR 186 with a nice actuator cover mounted that does nothing.
