Logophilia is a individualist group powered by dumbfounding enthusiasm. It's a place where the "BLACK KURTAS" are vigorous in their belief in the power of ETYMOLOGY .
It is fantabulous how Logo+Philia which means Love For Words ally with Etymology which means Study Of Words. Logophilia practices to eradicate the methodology of learning i.e. Mugging Up the things which appears to be strenuous . It is a place which helps you to learn things your school never taught but are essential .
Logophilia, therefore, enriches linguistic explanation for words, its roots, breaking & making mainly in Greek & Latin such that the meanings are embedded in your brain just by going through it and making you dictionary independent . Very logical indeed .
The scenario of the class is commendable, helps you to discover & rediscover the things which were already around you resulting in enlightment. It's insanely fascinating and confound at the same moment to think as simple as word formation which you somewhat knew but did not realise or discover can be so refine experience. And Logophilia made me do so. I am totally spell bound by one of it's programmes 'FEW'(Fundamentals Of Etymology Workshop) which has been its flagship Etymology workshop. Looking forward to many such programmes in the near future. :-D
