If only we could give 6 stars! Unforgettable experience. We did 3 fantastic story trails with Lakshmi who was our guide - the Peacock Trail (fascinating), the Food Trail (sooo delicious) and the Spice Trail (cooking class with Lakshmi and a fantastic cook cutely named Baby - once again so delicious). As soon as we met Lakshmi, we instantly liked her. Lakshmi is an amazing story teller. She has a kind heart, she s very knowledgeable and will turn any artefact, dish, or ritual into an amazing (true) story. Like in the famous The Thousand and One Nights novel, you just cannot stop listening to her and asking her many questions. In just two days we learnt so much about South India, its peoples, traditions, foods, religions, rituals and so much more. Lakshmi speaks a beautiful and elaborated English. Her enthusiasm and friendliness come across at every instant. A must do if you re in Chennai! I can t recommend Storytrails enough.
Just came back from my second tour with Lakshmi and each one has been absolutely fantastic!!! Highly recommended!
A good overview and organized look at this complex and geographically spread out city.
The best way to experience Chennai as a tourist. We have done 3 of the trails and loved each one. The food tour was our favourite. Lakshmi is a energetic and attentive guide who weaves magical stories with each bite of a new snack. Not to be missed in Chennai.
A must do if you are in Chennai. Their guides are extremely professional and very knowledgeable. Our Bazaar tour was excellent and a highlight of our trip to Chennai. Look forward to trying out their other day tours next time I visit Chennai.

Fantastic and good idea to book for 1st day in Chennai. Thanks Laxmi
During my stay in Chennai in February 2016, the StoryTrails India of Chennai suggested different activities (look at the joined illustrations), I have chosen the spice trail : The pleasant Laskmi drove us (me and a group of travellers) in More
This strolling visit incorporates visiting a sanctuary just as a Catholic Church, venturing into a Chenai's home, some food in a nearby bistro and an auto rickshaw ride. Our guide was well disposed, connecting with and simple to converse with on an assortment of subjects. I would profoundly suggest this visit!
