UPDATE - After 6 months of having poorly made and horribly installed Graber blinds with numerous remakes only to receive damaged and inferior quality replacements which we only decided to purchase because of a promotion that Costco was running, The Shade Company along with Costco decided instead of doing the right thing and providing an alternative better quality product, that cancelling the order was best for them. Leaving us to start the entire process all over again. We have been more than patient, understanding, cooperative and willing to look for a solution. Now they want to have them removed before we have a chance to have them replaced leaving us with nothing. Strange since they were in no rush to correct the issues but now there is an urgency to have them uninstalled.

I urge anyone in the NYC area to stay far away from The Shade Company and all Graber products. Horrible customer service and poor quality product! I have lots of photos that I am happy to share. Do yourself a huge favor and Stay clear of this company; you will thank me for this advice!

BE WARNED! We purchased custom shades for every room (three bedrooms, two bathrooms, living room and kitchen) in our new apartment because we are long time Costco members and know how they stand behind their products and offer great customer service. They were running a promotion for custom shades so we figured that we had nothing to lose. Let me tell you that from the minute the contract was signed with The Shade Company everything went downhill and fast. It took six weeks for them to arrive. Every room but one had either production issues and or installation problems. Fast forward six weeks, they came back again with damaged materials, incorrectly made materials and an installer that had a foul mouth and didn't stop cursing along with making a racist comment about a female customer at another job of theirs. The installation of the valances was attached by Velcro and began falling off the same day. My children could have done a better job. I am fed up with chasing after them to do the right thing and fix everything correctly once and for all. I write this as a last resort to let others know what a horrific experience this has been and save others from going through this never ending saga!
