Good devices, super easy integration options (JavaScript API), especially in comparison to other Swiss terminal providers. Customer service also very competent, but limited support times whereby one of course has a problem if they are not available (evening / Saturday). However, two points to criticize (relativize in comparison to the CH alternatives):
1) If you simply want two terminals as a small company, the process from inquiry to functioning devices on site is unfortunately not quite as smooth. Far too much communication effort, paperwork and errors that occur on the PayTec side. In my opinion a lot of potential (low hanging fruits) to streamline.
2) Reason why two stars deduction: We made the mistake of renting two devices. The reason for the rent was that the financial expense is distributed on the timeline for budgetary reasons. It soon felt like we were the very first customer to rent terminals. Suddenly there were no more bills. When we had to close the offline shop due to an industry crisis and were no longer used for the terminals, the trouble started. According to the contract, an administration fee of 1,250.00 is due for early return. New price just over 1,500 (Castles V3 Mobile); Rent for 5 months in our case is 500.- plus 1'250.- would be significantly above the purchase price. They showed themselves to be accommodating ... the fee was reduced to just over half. Nevertheless, we should end up paying 2/3 of the purchase price for using the devices for 5 months (as far as I understand after three months back and forth by email!). Although the devices were returned in perfect condition and usually last 3-5 years ... you feel ripped off. Final invoice is still pending ...
