The salesman Jacob Roberts was friendly and easy to work with. Luke on the other hand...well. Luke could be nice enough and seem legitimately concerned about the buying experience but the longer you are around him the more you realize that if his lips are moving that he is lying. We sat down and negotiated a trade difference on a new 4Runner. He gave the hard sell "this has to be done tonight" and "you only get my best offer if you do the deal tonight" I'm ok with that but here's the rub. He asks "what if I can do $4000 tonight, will you do the deal?" he then wrote the number on the worksheet and circled it. This was a number i liked and had them price out a 4Runner and a Tundra. I drove the Tundra and decided on the 4Runner. When I returned and agreed to do the deal Luke now tells me it is a $5000 trade difference citing "i said i could do $4000, i didn't say i would do it". Ultimately he offered $4800 difference.
Brandon Stevens, you need to consider how your salesmen do buisness.
Luke single handedly made this the worst buying experience ever. I have purchased two new Toyotas from Midwest in Hutch and realize now that I made the wrong decision purchasing from Eddy's Toyota. A mistake I won't repeat.
