The Opera House is an historic gem! Unfortunately Opera is performed the "old fashioned" way. The cast doesn't sing to each other and they don't act. They stand in place and sing to the audience perhaps expecting that the song will communicate who they are singing to and about what. And , the cast doesn't seem aware that they are living in an age of voice amplification. Quiet emotions can be communicated quietly.
