I rarely if ever post a review. However, I had a recent dilemma that was resolved by Phil in the service department at Norwood furniture store. I had purchased a southern motion recliner last year for my 95 yr old mother, at a different store. She depends on this lay-flat recliner, as she sleeps in it nightly. The lever handle had completely snapped off the rod mechanism. The furniture store chain that I purchased it from had since gone out of business and closed all their locations. By chance, I contacted Norwood furniture store because they are a retailer and dealer for southern motion furniture. I communicated with Phil in their service dept. and he was vigilant in helping me to get the recliner functional again. He contacted Southern motion with my issue and orchestrated them shipping me an entirely new mechanism, free of charge. The help that I received from Phil was above and beyond and b/c of the service he rendered I would go out of my way to patronize Norwood furniture store and recommend it to other consumers. Thank you Phil for CARING about the customer! You are truly an invaluable asset to the company and an exemplary model for the service industry.
