What impressed me most was the headboard on our bed had an imperfection that could not been easily seen, it was towards the back. We took a delayed delivery and within 24 hours of receiving our sectional, we found a significantly lower price elsewhere while looking for dining chairs. It was delivered at the short end of the promised time period by 2 very professional delivery men who made sure that everything was set up to my specifications (after navigating narrow hallways and stairs). Love my new bedroom set!!!! Sheryl was my sales lady. She worked with me and was very patient. We had just remodeled our master bathroom. I am very picky so Sheryl had her work cut out for her. High quality furniture. I ve been shopping all the major retailers in the past two months furnishing a new build home. Lisa was our sales associate and was very helpful and non pushy! Today, our bed was delivered on time and the delivery persons were respectful of not hitting walls and cleaned up any debris. I highly recommend Norwood Furniture and ask for Lisa. On a side note, there s a fantastic BBQ place across the street and down the block!
Where do I start... When we bought our bed in October we were told it should be in by the end of December.. that turned into January and finally February... today we got our bed. It's a beautiful bed and I love it, but the service from the sales lady was terrible. Melanie who helped us never called us to give us updates we had to call everytime and then she would call us back. She would say I will call you next week and give you an update once I find out information... but she never called. I had to call her. The wait sucked, but dealing with her was worse. I dont plan to go back and order furniture from there ever again. I don't recommend you going either unless you like waiting 4 months and not getting any service.

This quaint furniture store in the heart of Gilbert s restaurant row has been servicing the furniture needs of the community and beyond for years, a testimony to it s ability anticipate the home decorating needs over many decades. The sales personnel are attentive but not pushy. Delivery was as seamless. Our furniture had minor upholstery flaws which were handled by a an excellent repair person who visited us at home without a hassle. Hey, Mikey, try em you ll like em.

Loved working with Norwood. We bought leather couch and chair a few years ago and so far they are holding up really well. The customer service was fabulous. My only issue is that most of the their furnishings are very expensive.
Susan and Victoria helped us furnish our new home. We had an initial appointment where we discussed ideas and preferences. On our second appointment, they presented us with a wonderful cohesive plan that we loved. They remembered our ideas and preferences and stayed within our budget. We love that the interior design fee is included in the furniture cost. They saved us tons of time and the end result exceeded our expectations.
When we went to Norwood we didn't plan on buying from there. We simply went to look. We were pleasantly surprised by our choice of furniture and by the price. We were approached by Todd. He was extremely helpful and never pushy. He was available to answer our questions but also gave us the time to look. We left the store without purchasing because we had some measuring to do at our home. Todd even offered to do the measuring for us. We returned within a few days to ask if we could take a few of the material swatches to look at it with different items in our new home. He was completely understanding and allowed us to take the swatches. We returned a few days later to make our purchase. We needed to pick out a few other items. Again, Todd was very helpful and patient. He made good recommendations for us and he never once pressured us to make a decision before we were ready. Our furniture will not arrive for several weeks which works perfect for us. The customer service at Norwood is awesome. It is clear to see why they have been in business in the same location for so many years. I highly recommend checking them out. Their prices are very comparable and the quality is very impressive. The customer service at Norwood puts them far ahead of the competition!
Excellent service, and Hazel was amazing in helping me choose colors!! Was given a delivery date of July 1st, and got a call on June 1st that it was ready for delivery. The delivery guys were awesome, too, removing my old sofa set and setting up the new sectional. 5 stars all the way around!!!!
Norwood is a very special furniture store to have in our community. Their choice of inventory is intellectual and far beyond average. We purchased our master bedroom, and family room pieces here after moving into our new (to us) home in the Heritage District and the experience really made us feel as though we were already a part of the neighborhood.

I ve been looking for a new chair for our living room but was hesitant to go to Norwood because I had a bad experience there a few years back. The furniture I had ordered then was months late being delivered and whenever I would call I was given lip service by my salesperson and several times I was outright lied to. But I went to Norwood again because I couldn t find anything I liked elsewhere. I dealt with Liana Clemente and she was wonderful to work with! Super nice but also very professional. In addition to the leather chair that I purchased she helped me with my search for other pieces. My chair came in on time and it is beautiful. I would go back to Norwood and I would want to work with Liana again.

Susan Rand was our sales person and she was excellent. We were initially looking for one recliner for my husband, who is 6'4" tall, and wanted good lumbar support and good nap time. Susan took time and showed us a lot of recliners and Larry sat in all of them checking out their comfort. She let us know the differences in the recliners and which ones were on sale. Never the less we found not one, but two recliners. The one is a power cream rocker recliner and the other is a slate recliner that resembles a library chair. We are very happy with our choices.
I have bought a whole bedroom set over 15 years aga and its still looks good and now a couple months ago I bought a iron bed and I love,love it. its good heavy duty qualtiy

She spent time with me listening to what I was thinking and then walked me through the store showing me options, discussing color/material choices. I now have the bedroom of my dreams. Ask for Melanie, she s super friendly and well informed on the inventory. She takes the stress away!
In 2014, I purchased a dining set from Norwood working with Terrie Overstreet. Terrie was very helpful, so I returned to Norwood when I was shopping for a sofa, recently. Once again, Terrie provided excellent service. She painstakingly spent time helping me with the selection, by having me "try on" several sofas. I made my selection and then she helped me choose the fabric for the sofa and the pillows from an extensive array of fabrics. I never felt rushed as she allowed me plenty of time. She also made sure I got the best buy for my money. I am enjoying the dining set, the quality was what I expected, and it was delivered and set up with care. The sofa should be delivered in the next few weeks and I am expecting it to be the same. Based on these experiences, I will shop Norwood for future purchases. They have a great display of furniture, and if you have a specific item in mind, and it isn't available at their showroom, they will order it for you.

After looking at many other stores that sold furniture, we finally settled on a great piece from Norwood. They had the quality we were looking for, and offered President day sales prices and tax paid by them. Jody was or sales designer and she was extremely patient with us and our indecisiveness. Buying furniture in today's market is very difficult with so many stores selling low end furniture that fail within a year or two. They offer a 5 year warranty at a low price so you can get piece of mind that any issues over 5 years will be covered. Looking forward to receiving our new made to order leather sofa and matching chair. Thanks again Jody.

I want to thank Phil in your service department. We had a problem with the electric on one of our couches. Phil thought it might be one of the motors. Phil got right back to us to figure out which motor we might need, but when our neighbor who is an electrician we found it it was the cord . When the couch was originally set up the cord was put under the structure of the couch and finally shorted out, so no motor was needed. The follow up by Phil was great. You have a wonder employee. I am not one to write reviews , however I had such an awful experience that I felt it necessary to. We ordered a custom couch from Norwood and received it 8 weeks later.During delivery they tried to fit the couch through a door that was not big enough. This resulted in them ruining the upholstery on the top of the couch as well as my door frame . They did bring someone over to review the damage and then they offered to have the couch cleaned . The process dragged out for weeks .We then had to deal with the supervisor to fix the couch who is an arrogant unprofessional business man . In the end they offered but 150 dollars for the couch damage and door repair but refused to take back the couch they damaged. I know not everyone will experience the same but I know for a fact I will never consider nor recommend this company to anyone.
We met with two designers who simply had their own vision for our home, not taking our needs into consideration, but then, we discovered Norwood furniture- and after meeting Susan at Norwood, we knew that we found not only an excellent furniture store, but a wonderful designer who understood function, color, and design. Their selection is vast and you can literally find current peices in their store, or design anything for your home, if you are trying to create something specific. This will always be our go to store!

We have purchased entire rooms of furniture from Norwood over the past couple years. We have had the same associate, Susan, work with us every time. She has offered her expertise in design and we have been 100% satisfied with all our selections.
DO NOT purchase anything from Norwood Furniture. The owner, Todd Brundrett, is extremely rude and goes against every aspect of their mission to consistently provide professional and friendly service to help our customers enhance the beauty and comfort of their home. I purchased a $5000.00 dining set from this store that was delivered damaged two times. The first time the table top had a dent from shipping. Originally my husband and I didn t not want to accept it but they talked us into keeping it to use while they ordered a new top. After a month and a half we finally received the new top only to find that the leaf had been damaged as well. Our new $5000.00 table was not level and out of alignment. We asked for another new top but the owner said he would get us a new leaf and promised it would be aligned and level. Another month later and 2 weeks before Thanksgiving, the new leaf arrived but IT WAS NOT LEVEL. It was about 1mm off which is visible to the eye. We had it! My husband and I decided to have them come get the dining room set and refund our $5000.00. When I called to notify the owner, Todd, of our decision he yelled at me in a rude and pushy tone telling me they would not take the table back because it was already in our home. At that moment I realized that they had tricked us into accepting it when it first arrived damaged. When I tried to say anything he cut me off and said it s my turn to speak . He said he would send his manager out to our home to inspect the table and new leaf. When the manager arrive Todd, the owner, was with him. They both agreed that they could see the difference. Todd, stated I see the problem but by industry standard it is acceptable . When I asked him to show me the industry standard in writing he told me I will not speak to you anymore, ask your husband to call me. It was shocking how an owner of a retail company could be as offensive, disrespectful and blatantly sexist to his customers as Todd Brundrett was to me. BEAWARE: If you shop at this store they will appear friendly and professional but it is all an act. They will turn on you in a second as they did to us. And DO NOT ACCEPT ANY DELIVERY IF DAMAGED OR YOU ARE NOT 100% SATISFIED WITH THE QUALITY OF THEIR PRODUCT. Furthermore, DON T LET THEM TELL YOU THAT YOU CAN USE IT UNTIL THEY CAN CORRECT THE DAMAGED DELIVERY. It s a trick to get their product into your home so they can say now that it is in your home we won t take it back . Better yet DON T SPEND YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY AT NORWOOD FURNITURE.
We are very pleased with Norwood's customer service and sales. Susan was amazing to work with. Not only did she help us in purchasing our new Canadel table but assisted us in designing our dining room around it. Norwood is not like the other pushy furniture stores. Susan was patient and allowed us the time to decide on what we truly wanted on a budget. We are repeat customers... we also bought our curio cabinet from Susan/Norwood last year. I would recommended Norwood to friends and family.

Great furniture to purchase and Todd the owner has always been great to work with. I did purchase a dresser for the bedroom. There was minor damage to the unit in the back, and while someone was suppose to follow up, they did start the process but the person who was supposed to come out, never scheduled a time to do so. I have been busy, but it's been about 2 months and I haven't heard from that repair person, and so I was just going to forget about it. I believe I didn't get the service or follow thru I should have received and it would be good if they contacted. Update: Problem solved and I am very happy as normally with Norwood!
