I've been running a 12 person trip for Gauley season every year for over 10yrs. ACE has grown tremendously. It's obvious they invest in their business and customer service. Everyone from booking dept. to guide service is nothing but excellent. The evening get togethers at the Lost Paddle Bar (on premissis) are always lots of fun. We've even mingled with some of the owners who will party among the crowd.
Guides will typically cater to their crew. We tend to be a rowdy group and like to have lots of fun (including the "Out of boat experiences"). I've also seen their safety skills in action and would never doubt their professionalism. ACE is in the middle of gods country but worth the visit for the Bachelor Party, Scout Troop or family vacation. We travel 9hrs from NJ every year, not just for the river but also for the ACE experience.
