Our sales associate Tyler was great. However, we ordered a nightstand, headboard, and chest of drawers from Ashley Furniture and we were able to pick up the nightstand and headboard same day. We were told we would get a call when our chest of drawers was in so we could pick that up at a later time. I went to pick up the chest of drawers a week later, got it home, hauled it inside just to unwrap it and find that one of the corners that had been protected under a foam piece and wrapped up, was smashed in and chipped. I called Tyler and she directed me to their warranty company and I was to ask for Spencer. Spencer informed me that I can pack it back up and drive it back to their store so their master wood worker can repair it. When I asked if they could have someone pick it up and replace it since this wasnt a warranty issue it had come damaged, he informed me that all their pieces are completely unwrapped and inspected before they leave the store so it had to be our fault that it was damaged. I am very disappointed in this and will not be buying from Ashley again. We have bought a couch, bed, dresser, two nightstands, table, and this chest of drawers and this is how they treat their customers when something is damaged. We paid good money for our bedroom set just to have a piece come damaged and told it was our fault. I don t get how something that is protected under foam blocks and wrapped can be smashed in and chipped from being carried in a box inside a house. HORRIBLE.
